Dr. Sriharsha A Achar is an experienced People Management professional with a passionate desire to assist employees in developing & expanding their careers. His HR advisory firm SAAHAS (Sriharsha A Achar HR Advisory Services) became a reality in August 2024. The mission - Help build the personality of young professionals - in order to equip them to face the challenges of a competitive world in the throes of transition and change. He coaches today’s young professionals to become tomorrow’s Leaders. He is very active on Social media platforms. He is a motivational speaker and storyteller – and blogs under the hashtag #acharkevichar and #acharisms – where he brings life lessons to the fore. Through his storytelling, he serves as a culture catalyst and focuses on enhancing the sense of Belongingness, Connect and Engagement at the workplace, thereby leading to enhancement in Productivity. Dr. Sriharsha A Achar brings close to 4 decades of experience in several industries including Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Electronics, IT/ITES, Health Insurance, and Health care, where he has led the ongoing development of Human Resources Strategy, Systems, Frameworks and Service Delivery capabilities that are required to support the overall business goals. Dr. Achar is an Engineer (M Tech), MBA, and a PhD in Human Resources Management. He has held senior HR Leadership positions at FirstRing, AOL, Xchanging Technologies, Apollo Munich, HDFC ERGO, Apollo Hospitals, and Star Health Insurance in his 38+ years of Corporate HR journey. He retired from his corporate career in July 2024 and since then has been spearheading SAAHAS.
